Flying to Camden

Wish you could teleport to the coast? Us, too. Here are the next best options.

Portland International Jetport
~1 hr 45 min south of Camden

Boston Logan International Airport
~3 hours south of Camden

If traveling by plane, you will likely need to rent a car or arrange other transportation to Camden.

Driving to Camden

We highly recommend taking scenic Route 1 up the coast from either Portland or Boston so that you can enjoy the Maine coastline. Be sure to stop in downtown Damariscotta, just off Route 1 after Wiscasset. Damariscotta Lake is home to James's family cabin and the walkable downtown is full of charming shops and eateries.

Getting Around Camden

Downtown Camden is extremely walkable. Most hotels will offer guests free overnight parking. There is 2-4 hour on-street parking as well as several all-day public lots.

The ceremony at the Library Amphitheatre is a short walking distance (0.25 miles) from downtown Camden hotels. It is another short walk (0.4 miles) from the ceremony to the reception venue at Lyman Morse Marina.

Boat transport via a harbor lighthouse cruise will bring guests from downtown after the ceremony over to Lyman Morse Marina.

For those that will be driving to Camden for the ceremony and reception, we recommend parking in the upper lot at Salt Wharf off Sea Street. It is a short 5 minute walk from Salt Wharf to the ceremony at the Camden Amphitheater. There is a small public lot next to the Amphitheater on Atlantic Ave and 2 hour on-street parking on Atlantic Ave.
